Before placing a bunny, we ask each family to complete a short application so we can make sure every bunny goes to a safe, loving, and prepared home.

Reserving a Rabbit

· We accept deposits for available rabbits via PayPal or Zelle. All payments must be sent using the Friends & Family option.

· A rabbit will only be considered reserved once a mandatory non-refundable 50% deposit has been received.

· Deposits are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

· The remaining balance may be paid prior to pickup (required for transport arrangements) or at pickup.

· If anything were to happen to your rabbit while still in our care, you may either receive a refund or transfer your deposit to another available or future rabbit. This is the only circumstance in which refunds are offered.

· Honey Sweet Bunnies reserves the right to refuse the sale of any rabbit for any reason.

Pricing & What’s Included

· Rabbit pricing varies depending on fur color, eye color, and pedigree status.

· Typical pricing ranges from $400–$600, not including optional vet exams or vaccines.

· Each rabbit will go home with a sample bag of transition feed, a birth certificate, and a pedigree if requested.

Health & Care Policy

· Rabbits will not leave our care before 8 weeks of age.

· We sex rabbits to the best of our ability; however, mistakes can happen at a young age and gender cannot be guaranteed.

· All rabbits leaving our care are healthy to the best of our knowledge.

· Once a rabbit leaves our care, all future health care and veterinary expenses become the responsibility of the buyer.

· For the safety and well-being of our rabbits, we operate a closed rabbitry. Visitors are not permitted to tour enclosures or rabbit areas.

Spay & Neuter Information

· We strongly recommend spaying or neutering your rabbit before 6 months of age to help prevent territorial behavior and spraying in both males and females.

· Spaying female rabbits can greatly reduce the risk of ovarian and uterine cancers and other reproductive diseases.

· Neutering and spaying can help reduce aggressive behaviors such as biting, lunging, and urine marking.

· Sexually mature rabbits may become harder to handle if not altered.

Return Policy

· We will always take back one of our rabbits if you are no longer able to care for it.

· Please never release domestic rabbits into the wild or surrender them without contacting us first.

· While we do not offer refunds for returned rabbits, we are committed to helping ensure our rabbits remain safe and cared for.

Pickup & Transportation

· Pickup dates will be arranged at the time of reservation.

· A one-week grace period is allowed for pickup unless other arrangements are discussed in advance.

· If using a transporter, buyers are responsible for scheduling and coordinating transportation.

· Once the rabbit leaves our care with a transporter, Honey Sweet Bunnies is no longer responsible for the rabbit.

· Any issues involving third-party transporters are the responsibility of the buyer and transporter.

· Delivery fees may apply for meeting locations more than 30 minutes from Hollister, CA.

· All pickup meetings will take place in public, well-lit areas for safety.

· Buyers must bring a rabbit-safe carrier or enclosure for transport.
